ive had my down payment saved up for a few weeks now i just cant find my RSX!

im bein picky, i def. want a nighthawk black type-s 02-04, if i found an artic blue one that really cought my eye then i might settle for it. But so far i havent found either.

Base models come a dime a dozen but Type-S's especially in black seem to be a very rare item aruond these parts. You guys have any suggestions besides autotrader or cars.com???

so far ive done daily searches on both websites and on the weekends ive been callnig around to dealerships asking about theyre pre-owned inventory...but no luck, just a bunch of call backs about base models...

 

Even when I bought my 02 in 03 there was only two to choose from. have you thought of getting a new 04. I've heard of them discounting them pretty well because now there's the 05s no one will pay full price for 04s. Just try it, you never know what crazy deal they'll take. If you want the best price though, wait til the last day of the month they're open , an hour before they close and go in. Most dealers will take anything just for numbers.

 

kinda goin off what the guy above said, but its not the last day, its the 30th, numbers go in on the 30th of each month, find a new 04 go to the dealership on the 30th and you will get a hell of a deal on it

 

the black type-s shouldnt be TOO difficult to find. but the white type-s were damn near impossible there were only 10 left in cali for sale. and 8 of them were in northern cali. just call up a bunch of dealerships

 

those are pretty hard to come by.
