With so many for sale, and with the reasoning all over behind it, I am curious as to which is (are) the main reason(s) and also, reason which prevented you from getting one.

Since the reasons are usually a combination of such, pick the top one. I wish we can do those, pick the top 5 and scale them from 1 to 10.
I leave this an open poll so let's keep it clean. I think there was one similar to this that was thrashed way back.

 

I was seriously considering one. But now the chances of me getting one are about 10% due to insurance rates. I know i can afford anything under $19,000, but insurance on an R is too much, so im gonna stick it out with the si and then get something awesome in 3 years.

I love the Si anyway, I always get out of it smiling.
Could it be the sway bar, tires, struts and springs, and exhaust.
She definitly almost handles like an R

High insurance and an increase in theft is bringing an early demise to the ITR. Unless you own another car as your daily driver, or theft is not an issue in your area, it becomes impractical to own the car.

In my case, I will stand to pay more in insurance than I pay to finance the car. Plus theft in the NJ/NY are isn't looking any better.

 

I'm keeping mine but if something ever happens to it I'm going factory turbo a la WRX.

I have had thoughts of selling my car, mainly because I hate all the haters out there, and like to with peoples cars just because it's a realy ITR. Also, I would much rather have a Beamer.
