Default having a problem someone help?

i have a 91 lx 4 door stock motor but have a crx hf trans that was built for race as the kid says first how can i tell what type of trans it is to see if it came from a hf ? or how can i fix the problem of it chewing up every axle put in it ? 3rd option i have 1000 dollar to to fix this motor or put to a swap any suggestions?

If you've already got $1k then you've got a good head start on getting a B16 swap. I'd say save up a G more and you're set.

well i would love to save another g and do that swap but need to get the car running rite asap ...........what can i do for a g to get it running rite again|?

is your problem that the tranny is breaking axles? or that the engine is shot? you need to be more specific. When posting you have a problem, it helps to state the problem.... Anyway if it is the tranny, go check out local junkyards for a tranny... there are plenty. you can get a used one from a pick-n-pull yard for around 50-75 bucks.

If you engine is shot, and you dont have enough for a b swap, just get a d-series... like 400-750$ depending on where you go and how much for shipping.
