suspension???
you do not have this "waranty" that is either on or off. each component of your car is under warantee. your warantee on that part is only void if an aftermarket part causes a problem with the oem part.
i've worked as a mechanic durring the summer and I learned that sometimes any aftermarket part not made by the company (I worked under Nissan therefore anything not Nismo or some other Nissan authorized company) would void the entire car warranty. thats Nissan though, maby Honda does it different.
it is.
my dealer knows i have a race header, intake and sound system. i've been given the ok to get warantee work done on the transmission.
I post this on clubrsx over and over but here's one for Honda-Tech
Any aftermarket part that is the direct or indirect cause of a warantee claim is grounds for denial of service done for free of charge.
Putting in an intake doesn't give the dealer the right to deny your warantee claim that the suspension squeaks.
Putting on lowering springs doesn't give the dealer the right to deny your warantee claim that the stereo is cracking.
Putting on a stiffer sway barand then complaining that your endlinks broke. yer dealer is going to laugh at you and then bill you for $500
A dealer CAN deny you service. but it's up to you to fight them in court. Better to just go to another dealer.
