I can't bleed it because the cylinder is totally engaged and there is no pressure on the cluch pedle.

the point of bleeding is to get all the air out. Which gives you "pressure" back on the petal

make sure the reservoir is toped off with fluid and put the cap back on. Then pump the clutch petal and hold it down. Then loosen the bleed on the slave cylinder (on the trans with 8mm wrench) then tightn it back (snug) then release clutch petal. Then pump up again and repeat the process. Make sure that u check the fluid level and keep it topd off

ok, thanks for that but the main problem is that the clutch pedle doesn't popl back out. I push it in, it goes in easier than normal then it stays down. it doesn't push back up. so if I wanted to go out and bleed the cluch right now I couldn't because the cluch is pushed then it stays down. that's the main problem

Um yeah we know you will have to use this thing called you hand to pull it up a few times while building pressure.

just go call a friend over that u trust to push the petal in and out then have him hold it while u break the bleeder. DO this atleast 5-6 times you SHOULD get a petal back. Once u try that come back

If is doesn't build pressure I would say you have either a bad master or slave cylinder that happened to my roommate last summer in his hatch. He replaced both of them and has not had a problem since.

you need to replace the either the master or the slave. look under the steering wheel where the pedals are. see if there is any fluid leaking where the clutch rod goes through the fire wall. if there is you need to replace the master. and do the same with the slave. peel the boot back and see if there is fluid leaking out of it. if there is, replace that. make sure you get the correct adjustment on the master if you replace it. you should have 1/2 - 3/4 of free travel on the pedal before it starts to engage.

If it works fine, and you have pressure in the pedal back; then no, your cylinders are fine. You just had air in the system.

check behind the carpet on the inside of your firewall and make sure the clutch master cylinder is not leaking, if it is, buy a new one.

Yeah, that is true... I should have put that it would be okay if there were no signs of a leak.
