I called a local shop and that is what they quoted just for the engine. I think that is a bit much since the they are selling b16s' for about the same.

 

It better be in a Honda box and have 0 miles. And Anna Kournakova should install it for that price.

 

That is WAYYYY TO much. Remember, the SOHC ZC is just a D16A6 and pay no more then $200 for one that has been used and in good condition.

 

i paid $350 for my dohc(in cali) so i would say that is too much

 

you can get them from h motors for pretty cheap with ruffly 30K on them.i woudnt pay that much unless the miles are super low and it was installed for free.

 

Miles being super-low being a relative number not exceeding 15+ miles at that price.

 

Did you mean DOHC ZC for $695? SOHC should be sub $300 unless they are dipped in gold.

Seriously though, that price is not cool. You should be able to easily get a DOHC ZC for that price.
