NO, typically u always use the harness that came with the car. So u have to use the CRX harness. If u have dpfi crx then u will have to convert to mpfi first. U will be using some of the plugs off the EG harness tho (dizzy and injector plugs to name a few). Converting to at least obd-1 is recommended.

you COULD use the wiring harness in the car, but it would be a lot more work than it's worth. you'd have to rip out the dashes on both cars and rewire for the different clusters and such. not worth it on car's that different when theres an easier way of doing it.

All that is correct. If you have a CRX Si, you can swap over your stock crx si harness to the motor and add wires.
1. You will need to add VTS ( VTEC solenoid), Vtec oil pressure switch and ground, Knock sensor. Use plugs off the donor harness.
2. Need to repin dizzy wires to whichever plug you want to use( grey or white) Color for color.
3. Wire in for the 4 wire O2 sensor.
4. Extend the wires from the map sensor on the firewall to the MAP on top of throttle body.
5. Extend the wire for the IAT sensor ( sometimes you dont have to ).
6. Remove the Injector resistor box and solder all the red wires to the yellow/black wire.
7. Extend the fan switch wires to plug from OBD0 ( by oil filter ) to obd1 ( located on the thermostat housing).
Thats all the wiring i can think of right now. Damn i need to go to bed.
Also cut off the front motor mount from crossmember, if you want a header(4-2-1) to fit. Not all that hard just more time consuming than anything.
Good Luck

No VTEC pressure switch if the ITR motor is JDM.
