Default Anyone have this problem?

Okay, I took my car to the dealer today to get the idle control valve replaced cause I had a CEL on. After replacing that, I was getting ready to leave the dealer and looked down and the CEL wa on again. About 2 months ago, I had a CEL and they said i had a misfire in #4 cylinder and they replaced my spark plugs. I had previously took my V-AFC out so they would not see it. Now it is back in and the CEL that I got today said I had a misfire in #3 & #4 cylinders. The tech unplugged my ECU for about 5 minutes and hooked it back up and no CEL. Could there be something wrong with the wiring to the V-AFC or something? As of right now, it is off, but if it comes on again, the dealer said they were going to replace the ECU.

Any of you guys ever have this problem? The guy that hooked it up said it is possible that my car is running to rich, but my correction is at 0% right now.

MY Stock R has the CEL on a while back with misfire randomly in 1,3,4...
CEL is gone after I put different gas from another gas station..
I was using Sunoco 94 (thinking the higher, the better)...
now I am using Sheetz 93.. CEL never comes back..
not saying that you have the same problem, but this solved mine.. been 6 months, CEL never comes back.
do I know for sure the gas was the problem? YES!. why? I took my limping R to the other gas station (half empty), fill it to full..turn the engine on..and VOILA..
(and so I went to AutoX the next day)

Hope this help...

Well, when I got the first mis fire code a few months back, I took it out and had the dealer look at it. They replaced the plugs and it seemed fine after that. I had the V-AFC out for about a month and put it back in about three weeks ago or so. Two weeks ago, my CEL came on and the dealer checked it and they replaced the idle control valve today. That is when I got the other CEL. They checked it and now I have misfires in 3-4.

Hey SGT, do you think it may have something to do with the V-AFC or the wiring? The tech at the dealer unplugged my ECU for about 5 minutes. He got something off the computer that told him to do it. I'll find the paper and post what it says.
