Need help from drag racers, torque vs Peak power
I need some advice.
Assuming same conditions and same car, driver reaction time etc...
What is better in a 1/4 mile?
A 250whp/160 tq car or a 225whp/200tq car? I mean.. When do you know, you can sacrifice whp for tq in drag racing?

Sorry I posted twice but it got moved from another forum because I asked them to, but it took a while so I just doubleposted.
Basically,
a stock k20a R civic EG with 52mm itbs went 11.7 on stock motor. At then end of 4th he clocks 11.7
Keeping the stock block and going to crower valvestrain and cams with nothing else done to the car, we are wondering...
Go with crower stage 3 race cams so the peak is higher and tq is low or stage 2 3/4 where the tq is better but the peak is not as high?
Also oversize the valves? Or leave them stock size?
Thanks in advance,
NIkos
PS Hoping to see this car in the 10s with stock block all motor very soon.
