When i get on the highway and get up to 4th and 5th gear this vibration in the console starts and its really annoying.

Ive banged the dash/console/gauges in various places to make it stop but it wont. So i just turn the stero up loud and it blocks it out. But can someone please help?

 

Are your tires balanced correctly? If you can get someone else to try to put their hand on it that can help.

 

yea, i got the wheels balanced when got my new tires. i didnt get the alignment checked though.

could that be it?

but the sterring doesnt shake any, not even a little.

 

check tire balance, air pressure. alignment could cause it if the toe is screwed up. those are a start.
