Has any one swaped TL parts for accords?
I was wondering if anyone has replaced there 2000 LX Accord stock sway bars and lower tie bars with OEM TL or CL sway bars and lower tie bars? I needed to know what year TL or CL would match the Accord.
get any TL-S or CL-S sway... the regular CL and TL sways are not any better than what you already have. oh, and make sure to get the bushing and brackets from the CL-S or TL-S as well, as you will need them for the install. if you want an even beefier rear sway, i've heard the new TL's rear sway should work too.
I have the TL-S sway on my 4cyl 4dr Accord. It's very nice...The finish was a bit scraped up so I sanded it down and painted it a semigloss high temp rustoleum silver because it's near the exhaust pipe...here's a link to what you need....this and a good can of wd40 to get the goddamn rusted bolts off...
You'll need the bar, bushing, new bolts, and the brackets because the bushings are a little beefier...
Should be really inexpensive compared to a ST bar, etc.
