Default oil presure gauge

I just purchased an autometer electronic oil pressure gauge. It tells me to mount the sendor on the firewall. I have a B16 and it says to mount it remotely and I was wondering if anyone has run this setup please let me know. I need to know if anyone has run into problems just mounting it on the engine itself.

"Remotely" is just a fancy way of saying you can mount it away from the motor or by itself. A good place to "remotely" mount the oil pressure sendet is on the firewall.

In the upper right corner, select search, there are like 10 pages of information in the archives pertaining to installing an oil pressure gauge. A lot of good information.
