Chipped OBD1 ECU with OBD2 auto tranny....

my friend has a 00 civic obd2b. he wants obd1 p28 auto stock program.

will a chipped obd1 ECU (AUTO) work with an obd2 AUTO tranny?

No. I believe the 96-up Civic has a TCM in the ECU which means it won't work with the 92-95 Civic which uses a different setup.
