Default weekend of cleaning up wiring

after finally getting everything running correctly, it was time clean up the wiring spaghetti so i can enjoy more than 10 minutes on the road without worry of an engine fire.

looks like there might be a problem back there...

yup! definately a problem!

saturday's "success"

another angle of saturday's "success"

after putting in some hours of work first thing sunday morning...its getting there.

no more spaghetti!

another angle to view the back breaking work.

two new cuts, one tore up back, and 15 hours of weekend work later...i have a car that i can drive safely.

obviously it has yet to receive the super tuck job, but it is definately an improvement in comparison to the first pic. i could have ran the wires going towards the fuel injectors better by going under those coolant lines but after all the work i didn't feel like bending over for another 10 minutes so i could unfasten every injector clip and reroute the wires. perhaps next weekend, along with a comlete clean tuck of all those wires. many zip ties to be added!

indeed!
the wiring mess was comliments of a ********** known as "sakums20" here on honda-tech who sent me that shitty "custom" wire harness for a $100-$150, cant remmeber exact price anymore. never bothered to go after him because i was too busy with the swap, but i'll be sure to pay a visit next time im in his area.

thank you and thanks to everyone else for the compliments, but remember, the original mess wasn't my doing.

if i was to start with a stock civic harness and adapt it to my engine, it would have never looked that bad. instead i opted to pay someone on honda-tech for a custom harness, which was the mess you see that had to be tweaked with one wire at a time for a week before running anywhere near proper. but hey, the knowledge i acquired while doing it all is priceless!

Yeah, I'd buy a new one and start over. There's still quite a mess in there.
