CEL on, No ECU light No Fuel or Spark? Pr3
Im doing a B16 swap on a Crx DX and i did the Dpfi to mpfi swap hooked up the pr3 ECU and light on it come on once. I never started the engine though cause i didnt have all lines hooked up. After i hooked up everthing i did the Vtec wires to the ECU put on a brand new battery (Orbital) filled the tank with gas crank it but no go. I dont get any Light on the ECU no Fuel Pump noise and no spark.
The ecu seemed to work fine before the Vtec wiring.
Now i took the Vtec wiring out and put everything back expect for the MPFI wires which are 4. and still no LIght on the ECU, i tried looking for codes and still not light on ECU. WTF is going im going nuts. help please.
Is my ECU bad, could it be that the battery is too big and blew the ECU. i tried to ground the wires from the harness to the Thermostat housing and still nothing i even hooked up the Neg of the battery directly to the computer ground and still.
NOTHING>

Did you have the ecu plugged in before you installed the battery? Or did you install the battery, then plug in the ecu? Also, in what way did you "try" to ground the wires to the thermostat? Check the main fuse in the engine bay fuse box, as well as the rest of the fuses in there.
Im going to ground the crap out of everything tomorrow.
Also does anyone know where the Altenator sol fuse is someone pointed that out so i can check it. . I hooked up the ECU and then the battery i even did both ways are there any fuses i can check what can i do.
I so lost. you guys dont even know/
All the fuses on the bay seem to look good.
I disconnected all the Vtec wires because It started doing this **** after the vtec wires where hooked up.

oh hell yeah i think i found part of the problem
I checked Fuse #14 and it was blow now according to some honda tech 'rs that one is the alternator Solenois valve whatever that powers the ecu. im going to check right now. 7 16 pm

Ok I replaced Fuse and here is what happens.
I calmed down a bit now.
I insert Key turn key Yellowish Check engine light on the dash comes on.
On my ECU the LED lights up once.
then after i hear a Relay click the yellow check engine light goes away.
i crank it (turns over), but nothing.
I do not hear the fuel pump come on at all. (Im i suposed to hear it)
the highest voltage i read at the Fuel pump is 9.75 volts.
I ran 12 volt source straight from battery and still nothing at the pump.
Im about to take out it.
I dont know if I got spark because im doing all this by my self and i cannot turn the egnition key open and see if i have spark at the engine bay.
Any help?????
I also tried to check for codes you know jumping the little blue connector and i dont get no codes or flashes on the ecu after it only flashes once when i turn it on. the only code i get is when i leave the ignition key on and connect the battery.
the ECU light stays on constantly until i turn off and back on.
I calmed down a bit now.

When you do that do you hear the fuel pump whirring?
if not, check your main relay... not the ECU.

Ok i checked the main relay thats on the drivers kick panel.
and it works i checked voltage at the pump and there is voltage there too.
I wired the Fuel pump directly because i cant hear and i think its bad, because the car sat for like 2 years i stuck a hose down the tank and i held the other end against my ear and Didnt hear nothing. i think the pump is bad because the + wire gets hot like it its jammed or stuck. or rusted to hell, i dont know.
but i know the pump is bad. anybody got a spare pump that works ?

Might as well drop in a Walbro if you are going to be changing out the pump. Trust me, you don't want to be dropping the gas tank too many times to change the fuel pump.
