Default 5 speed tranny axle seals ....

Mine have groves in them & leak some tranny fluid. Can you get them out with a srewdriver or what? And are they supposed to be hard as a rock. Any info on easy removal & repacement greatly appreciated........ TIA

your old ones are prabably just dried out. yes, you can take them out with a screw driver, just be carfull not to scrape up the hole to ensure a good seal when replacing the tranny with new ones
