cr 125 pipe ?
sup guys i got a 98 cr125 ... but i got a 2000 pipe for it.. do u think it would fit or say i have 2 do very lil movment 2 the brackets.. will i gain performance or lose since its not made for my bike.. thanx alot
Have you tried to mount it yet? 2000 honda redesinged the enigne so its completly different then the 98-99 engine. I doubt it will fit with out some midifacation to the mounts. I owned a 99CR125 and put a FMF REV pipe on it and it help out alot but there is not much you can do to bring that bike to life. My suggestion is to get a differnt bike cause no matter what you do that bike the power will not stay on the pipe.
Why you hatin on the 98 homie? I was riding my buddies 99 for awhile and loved it, it was so light, you could throw that thing anywhere you wanted to. Power wasn't awesome, and you can never have the thing in the low to mid range, just keep it on the top end and you'll be alright. Keep it real and get the right year pipe.
Im not hatin on the 98 at all C'mon i owned a 99 for like forever so its the same bike there chauncho. Remember 95-96 CR125's they were madd crazy stupid power and then people were complaining to Honda that they had too much power for a 125. So honda redisgned the frame and put an engine in it that was more user friendly and it sucked. If i wasnt such a die hard Honda rider i would have bought a YZ but i did just as good on My 99 CR when i rode and raced it. But it vibed me to death and keepin it on the pipe turned into an artform. So all an all the new CRF250R is the king in the 125 class hands down.

The CRF is only king if the rider is also king. Bike means nothing it's all rider. I whoop on 4-strokes all the time.

Just check and see if the pipe fits. It should be easy to tell by just holding it up to the bike. A stock 2000 pipe isn't going to do that much though. Get a Pro Circuit and it will be much better than any stock pipe.

Or a tooth down on the front will help bottom end also.
