According to the diagram, they're the single speaker setup for the USDM hatchback's. They hold the 6.5" speakers.
The 5.25" speakers fit the dual setup for the JDM 4-seater and 5-seater (which is like USDM but still have the dual speaker setup).
The 5.25" speakers fit the dual setup for the JDM 4-seater and 5-seater (which is like USDM but still have the dual speaker setup).

You don't actually bolt the speaker to #20 in your picture. They bolt to #5 & 8 in my pic & then bolt to #2 & 3 in my pic. Then #2 & 3 bolt to the chassis. #20 in your pic just seal the open space between the mounting bracket & the plastic cover panel. This directs the sound into the cabin, and not the quarter panels...

two fronts are 6.5 the rears are 4- 5.25 as far as i've seen done. even on the single pods in the rear.
fronts- 6.5
rears- 5.25 (2 or 4)
as per oem usdm and jdm specs.

I have some 6.5" speakers that I've switched from my rear to front and from my front to rear several times back and forth when I had my USDM OEM interior. With my JDM 4-seater interior, only 4.25" speakers fit the rears.
Also, I have 2 sets of the USDM EH3 rear speaker setup if anybody is looking to add the rear speaker setup to your EH2/3. And 1 set of the USDM EH3 rear interior in black.
