as the picture suggests, why not make a clear hood out of Saran wrap?

I have a completely painted Carbon Fiber hood. It is nice, but in certain parts of the light, you can see carbon fiber strands underneath the paint. Looks pretty good though, just paint it.

 

Paiint it to match the car

 

im thinking about painting it but i dunno...

 

IMO I say keep the C/F hood the way it is. get some black wheels or just paint your wheels black and get a C/F front lip. Have you thought about cutting the bottom gril where the intercooler is?

his car is pretty clean. but about cutting the grille- i like it how it is and not cutting it like everyone else. all my freinds who cut theres out when they were boosted regret, i mean i want to but i dont wanna regret it later.

 

I think you should paint the two "humps" (i dont know what they are called). ludes look good with the middle of the hood cf but the rest the same color as the car. does anyone else know what im talking about??

if you dont dig the look of the cf anymore, just paint over it man, no use in getting a new hood. btw, looks real clean.

it's all up too you of course but..i would either (A)keep it black and get different rims(dont paint the stock rims black..i think that's kinda fugly)..or..(B)keep your stock rims and paint the hood too match..i would be pissed if they didnt get the color exactly perfect though..just my .02 ..or (C)leave everything the way it is and be done with it(i know about getting bored with something so..do what ya gotta do)
