Default Which clutch???

I already ran a search

I keep hearing everyone tell me to get an ACT clutch, but what combo? Heavy duty pressure plate? and Performance Organic Street Disc? or what? and how much should I spend?

I was also looking at clutchnet clutches, as several ppl at the track had them this past summer. All I heard were good things. I also like the fact that the 6-puck disc is sprung, so it's a little more streetable. If I go clutchnet I was gonna get a stage 2 clutch.

What do you guys think? THNX L8R

BTW: My mods are I/H/E, 60-shot of N2O, getting head P&P, and possibly upgrading to a direct port 100-shot N2O setup. It's a 1996 LS.

please include a link if you have good pricing

I just found an Exedy clutch for $249.50, is that a good deal? It's the organic disc w/ heavy duty pressure plate.

I'd have an exedy if they weren't on backorder when I did my clutch.

I have the OEM disc/pp from an ITR and it has been working out well for me.

ACT HDSS - for good pedal pressure and hard grabs
ACT XTR4 or R6 - for hardcore racer...grabs like crazy...and stiff as a brick
ACT XTSS - stiff but engages nicer than the 4 or 6 pucks

for you either get the HDSS or the XTSS
and its your choice on pedal pressure
