Which exterior/interior mods that you consider as played out BUT NEVER labeled as "extreme rice"?

Alright who put nitrous?

 

nitrous is played out.... it's no longer a performance mod.

It became played out when it was sold as fast as clear tails....

you know when i'm talking about.. when people used to fear nitrous and noone ran it because they could blow their motors....

i totally lost respect for nitrous users when I walked into my regular shop and some guy was buying a nitrous kit.. and when i saw the tired old beast he was putting it on.... i mentioned out loud off to theside.. "kewl nitrous... I need two of those and make it the big ones, and i need them by tonight"....

he didn't look happy....

now if you had nitrous before it became like a pair of underwear (everyone has it) then maybe i'd have respect for it.......

All of the mods are played out..along with CAI's.... IMHO

A friend of mine who does install for a shop in Green Bay just installed a dry kit on an automatic probe and is about to install a $1000 venom kit on a built automatic cavalier. I understand exactly what you are saying, but after these two ******** launch their pistons into orbit I think nitrous will be feared again in Green Bay. I still believ that a DP kit is a very healthy performance mod for drag racing. You can specifically tune the fuel for each cylinder, you can adjust the exact amount of power that you are producing at any given time during a run, and a good purge will still scare the **** out any little ricer that revs on you.

 

i think 17 inch rims look tight on integras. things that don't look good are Z3 fender flares, lights on your windshield wiper fluid squirters, and huge *** wing spoilers.

 

Tire glitter, ghetto chrome fender thingies, and k-mart/walmart simulated disc brakes wheel covers.

 

So I guess the person that posted this crap only likes cars with 12-16 inch wheels, NO Vtec and NO nos. What do you drive a saturn with 13 inch wheels?

No I don't have a Saturn. I have a gsr and a pathfinder. The reason for that, especially in the ITR forum, most are sooooo against the "anti performance" 17" and in other forums too which led me to believe is losing popularity but not labeled as RICE. Did you read above?
I didn't include VTEC nor NOS, so please, before insulting, read the post. This was an open poll so not all the selection are mine. I only included the 17" or larger rims, clear corners (see ITR forum on this one), >3" drop. Peace.

Thank you. You know what I had in mind. Like the post stated, I was trying to get an idea on mods that were never considered as "extreme rice" or "rice" for that matter. A mod that was generally accepted by many in the past but NOT anymore.
I left the forum open but then I saw Altezza's. I did not think Altezza was ever accepted by the majority of people in the import market unlike clear corners. Altezza were labeled as RICE by many as soon as it hit the pages of Super Street.

I guess I am expecting too much from HT.

yup... way back when spoon was thought of as an eating utensil and nothing more... i liked those rims, but didnt have the cash. I LOVED black rims! And no one made any besides Spoon. Soon after I broke down and got some silver rims, companies began to start making black... and now? NOW EVERYONE HAS BLACK RIMS!!! matbe I should rock some gold 13" 72 spoke daytons and maybe those will get popular for the rice crowd. Others that are a given... windshield squirter lights and altezza's.
