-2.7 camber, how long will tires last?
hey guys, my front left wheel has -2.7 camber and i was wondering if i adjust the toe to stock specs, how long would my tires last? i plan to rotate my tires often but i'm just wondering whether i really need a camber kit or not with -2.7 degrees. thanks.
I have about -2.5 on both fronts.
Kumho 712s lasted over 30k with frequent rotation.
My Azenis are at about 11k now and I havent rotated them once (maybe once at most, I dont remember rotating them though) and they are holding up great.
Just make sure your toe stays kosher and you keep an eye on inner wear and rotate when necessary, and you should be fine.

everyone says that, and to a certain extent it is true
but even with proper toe, Camber is a problem

I don't know what my camber is but the inside of my tires are tore up and I can see the steel belts, and it's been less than 2k miles. I am in the middle of buying new suspension and some used tires to last me till the new suspension comes in.

-2.7 is not that bad...it actually gives u a better cornering...my tires lasted for 25k with 300 treadwear..i think that was nitto 555 extreme...just get the alignment as close as possible because thats what kills the tires
hey guys, i just got an alignment done without the camber adjustment thing. the tech guy said to get a camber kit which i'm already ordering (i know the talk about the camber wear and toe blah blah), but the tech guy said he changed the toe to positive +0.15 for now until i come back for the camber correction. i didn't have to pay this time so that's cool. anywho, is +0.15 toe bad enough to ruin my tires since it's positive?
how long will the tires last? hmmm, let me see, if 1 day = 1 finger, and i have 10 fingers . . .
but seriously. 0.15deg toe is almost nothing. might help with turn-in on crappy tires, though. stock spec is -1.4 to -2 deg i think, but -2 is a lot for daily driving. you can get away with it, but just save yourself the extra PITA of camber wear and the price of replacing tires more often and get longer bolts and some washers or something cheap like that. easy, cheap, done. end of story.

+0.15? to me thats bad.
it should be closest to 0.
im at -1.9 camber, and i get good miles out of my tires.
by the way, what is the other side camber, i noticed you said front left is -2.7.
it should be equal on both sides L&R.
