Boosting zc in 90 Si
I ordered my ZC engine and I am about to order a turbo kit. There are two I am looking at. Apexi and Greddy. I was wondering two things. One, which one is better, and two, where can I get a high flow pump? Thanks for input in the matter.
Apexi has a ballbearing turbo,,
But greddy comes with that blue box(even though its horrible for boost over 8,its better then nothing)
Both come without a bov or intercooler..Those are optional and more expensive..
I couldnt see myself spending that kind of money for a small gain..You should think about a homemadeturbo..Build it the way you want it,.
Dont get me wrong people have gotten good numbers fron those kits but they seem to max out ..

really, just shop the classifieds.i got most of a brand new setup on here for $900 but be carfeull i got scammed out of a manifold from some one with tons of vouches.but on the p side i bought alsmost every thing here except my turbo timer wich i got from kuruma motoring on ebay.i think that was the company.good luck.
just to let u know the 92-95 civic turbo kits work on the dohc zc i dont know if thats what u have??also rev hard and turboneitcs both make turbo kits for the zc.and remeber the bottoom end can only really handle 8 psi to 9 the most or 200 hp.
