HID retrofit

is there a detailed, step-by-step thread on how to do this to EK headlights? Also, anyone with an HID retro-kit for sale?

are HID conversion kits useless if you want to use a D2R/D2S bulb? or are all ballasts and bulbs ineterchangeable?

yes the bulbs are interchangable but I don't think the ballast are
