i just bought a cf hood.. used... its missing washers where you tighten it.. i guess the bolt thread is worn out.. any suggestions on how i could bolt the hood on the car...


the cf hood is also faded.... whats the best and cheapest way i can regloss it?

arent the washers attached to the bolts? Do you mean to say that the holes on the cf hood are stripped? Thats why it wont tighten? As far as the gloss, you can get it resprayed for less than 100 bucks

 

get a nut that has a washer attached to it you can get them at Home Depot and put inside the hood where the holes are and and bolt it that way if the holes thread are stripped out just make the hole alittle bigger with a drill bit
