Spoon N1 on EG question??? pics
thinking about getting the spoon n1 but ive noticed that some EGs the muffler sticks out alot and on others its nice and tucked...
I know theres 2 versions of the spoon n1, the older one (which i believe has the "dull" muffler and polished tip) and the new version which is complete polished... is one version longer than the other?
example
tucked in

a bit out sticking out

P.S. big upps to these 2 cars and their owners...if u dont want me to use your pics PM and ill take them down

on the first pic, i believed the tip looks tucked in cuz of the rear lip. The second hatch doesnt have a rear lip. But i've also notice what your talking about i've seen it on some cars. Maybe its just how the owner install the muffler?

well i wouldnt see how it would be the "owners" install problem cause the hangers basically match up to the car, u know and determine how far the the rest of the muffler (tip) sticks out, right?, maybe one version is shorter? diff position of the muffler hangers on one? also the tip looks longer on some..

for reals?
I cut mine right after the flange, which got rid of the bottleneck and it sucked it in almost 1 inch. Looks a lot better to me

You have to remeber that Spoon designed these for race engines on race cars. Basically soot to **** from no cats and tuning and to be in a position to benefit from the aerodynamics of the vehicle to produce scavenging hence the tuliped tip ect.
It may look better shorter but keep that other stuff in mind. Or buy my race exhuast and be on the DL with an evil sound eminating from your car but no sign of where it's comming from. Perfect for cali poe avoidance
