N. Cali Laguna Seca Meet
We had our January Meet at Laguna Seca. Unfortunatly we had a low turn out. Only 5 R, but Mike brought the 260 WHP monster and we also had a very clean 97 from Santa Cruz. Even with the low turn out we had a blast, too bad if you missed it.

What gets me is we had 6 last year when it was pooring rain. This year was great weather and we no one showed.
Maybe we should think about moving this one to Sears point? Any opinions?

I would have gone to the type r meet in Laguna Seca but Sunday was the Winter Warm up at Sac Raceway. But next time you guys set-up a new Nor-Cal meet, ill be there.
Rboosted- How come you didn't go to CMI that day? There was only 4 type r's out there including mines.

yeah I was gonna go, however the last local ITR meet I attended was in Nov. of '00 so I decided it to go. However few showed so that kinda sucked, however the weather was great and it was a kick back meet.
I will though be at the next CMI event type R meet or not. I really should have go though and tried for mid-12's.
How was the event? Any good ITR times or cars?

It was a good turn out. The weather was fair. There was only 4 ITR's at the event. My best run of the day was 14.05, but most of the day was low 14's. The other 3: Team SVP's CW ITR ran 13.01 allmotor, PY ITR stock ran high 15's all day and another CW ITR ran high 14's. I thought there was going to be more ITR's at the event but I guess not.
yeah their white R is doing pretty good. The yellow one however hit 12.4 all motor. Hopefully one day they will bring that beast back to the track once people stop hating on them and they finish their stuff.
The SVP's yellow ITR will be out soon...I talk to him yesterday about his car. His making 213 whp but its having problems rite now. He said it'll be ready by next CMI on april...
nice. I wonder what he'll hit this time. Last time it was 12.4 with around 200-210whp. Maybe he'll hit 12.2 with his extra little items he's added. This time it won't be with stock bottom-end!
But yeah it would to race at that event. I need to get some good slicks though for it. The current one's died on me last time I was out. I ended up going from 1.8 60fts to 2.0-2.1 60fts.
We'll see though...

Thats what I need slicks instead of street slicks and a new 6-puck act clutch...I couldn't break 13's yesterday...I was stuck at 14.01...Oh wellz, ill have them by april....
