The death of an RX7, murderous pics inside...
Heres what we started with tonight:
Heres the progression during the day:
Then we wanted to cut the roof off because we were drunk.
tomorrow i will post pics of it upside down. We are going to flip it upside down to take out the diff and rear suspension.
Got this car for like $300 and it was running so we firgured wed make our money back by parting it out, figured wed have some fun too. The sad thing about it is that the car had no rust or dents or anyhthing.
UPDATE:
Rear carridge comes out with 8 bolts.

O yea this car had 177k on it and ran fine. The only thing on its way out was the tranny. TII tranny > n/a FC tranny
UPDATE:
Subaru got stuck but ended up dragging the car 50 feet into the front yard where it currently rests here...
this was one of my more interesting weekends ive had.

we were bored, between 10 of us i think we have 17 sevens so its no biggies, another "core" car is coming in in 2 weeks.

so why didnt you just re-sell it? i meen if it was running, had no rust, and not even a dent, you could have just sold it for like 2000 and saved yourself a lot of work.

No because i needed the engine for this:
Its a 84 Gsl-SE, only first gen with 13b and FI offered. Its clean as hell, no rust, fresh paint, and was worth way more than the FC.
