Default lug nut question

i was putting on my rims a couple days ago and one of my lugs were stripped. so i pulled pretty hard to take it off but the stem broke off. do you guys know what i need to do or how much it'll cost to get it fixed. and how safe or unsafe is it to be driving on 3 lugs on my passenger side front tire. any comments would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

A single front lug stud is cheap and it won't be real hard to replace. I'd search for the couple of lug stud replacement threads that are in the archives.

drive on the three lugs safely to a tire shop. I am sure this happens quite a bit with a tire shop installing wheels all day. Call them first and inform them of you problem.

so i went to just tires and like 4 other car shops and none of them can do it for me, sears said they'd have to order the stud which would take a couple days, and this other shop was charging me 82 dollars. the acura dealership is also charging me 15 dollars for a new stud....maybe imma just end up doing it myself. weakkkk.

If the dealership is charging $15 for a single lug stud, then I'll give you one of my old ones. ******* rip-offs.

I'm in the Bay Area too and Big-O replaced one of my studs free! They can certainly do it for a small fee.
