I bought a linkage from a guy here at HT it was from a 89 hatch and today when i trying installing it on my rex it semmed like it was a bit long.
its not a Cut and weld one. its all one piece never been cut do you think it would work if i Shorten it about 2 inches to make it fit?

 

What engine is in yours? What enigne was in his?

If it helps, I know someone who did that, and if it helps that same person had his linkage break twice on him while going down the road. Just my .02.

 

I guess the dude had it in a GSR hatch.
I have a B16 swap on AZ racemachine mounts. (sweet)

 

If it's a B series linkage it should work. Starnge it doesn't, sure it's not a D series linkage?

 

i had a DA linkage and i cut off 2 3/4 off and it fit just fine

 

Its a B series its color is like goldish light.
could i have been sold a linkage from another type of car. maybe and integra.
or civic. ????
I dont know but im going to cut and weld that biach later its about an 1inch long so im gonna make it adjustable.
