Which engine would u pic?

I found a JDM B16A3 full engine swap for 2800 but I found a B16B for 3800 which would you pick for a 98 DX? Any other suggestions would be good too.

none of them for that price u could get a b18c1 and if u look more u could find a b18c5 for the price of 3500$
even with 185 hp and that toque it doesnt compare to that b18c1/5

b16 = toqueless y00 !

lol a c5 for $3500?

if you can find a type r swap for $3500 that hasnt been malested and have high mileage then props.....a clean, quality low mileage r swap will sell for 5 grand

paid $5400 for my jdm b18c "r", 15k miles, clean as a whistle and jdm header/hondata

you get what you pay for.......remember this

for that price range u can easily scoop up a h22a. 200hp 150+ torq. stock, u cant go wrong. and its cheaper than a b18c1 swap.

please dont speak...H22's suck worse than B16's...
I'd take D16Z6 with a junk yard turbo with blown seals over an H22

I am trying to stay CARB legal still but the JDM B16A3 is a Civic SIR motor and the B16B is a CTR motor straight out of Japan!

To be honest it all depends on your plans. If you want cheap horsepower, mod ur D16. If you want the bling and bragging rights, and not to mention VTC louder than a Subaru exhaust, get the CTR motor. If you have high ambitions for the car, then the B18C is what you are looking for.

get a b18b, with a b16a tranny, and a big *** t3/to4 turbo you will not be disapointed.

B16B is not legal in California.
