please help ok heres the problem. the car was running until the battery fuse went pop. i relocated the battery to the back so i put a inline 200A fuse. i bought a new fuse now my car won't start. i turn the key and i hear the fuel pump(walbro) which leads me to think its not the main relay. i try to start and i hear the start click and the main relay click after that. when i try to start it the lights go dim like usual but if i continue to hold the key there the lights stay dim and i hear a buzzing sound coming from under the dash.

after trying continously one time i got it to crank but then it just cut off instantly

and when ever i try to start it. it makes this weird sound. like JUP! and then after that noise just alot of clicking and noise coming from under the dash.

Sounds strange. It seems like the main relay is working. But just try hitting it when your trying to turn it over. Did it do this before the battery relocation?

 

it use to do this alot in the summer time. when its hot i live in vegas.

it would crank like 2 or 3 times then cut off and make that sound Jup! now all i hear is that sound and no crank. i thought it was the main relay because of the hot weather but i hear the fuel pump. what else does the main relay control?

 

you can try to check the starter relay. It's on the driver side, by your feet.

 

Hmmm.....maybe ignition switch? I had similar problems, but not exactly the same. Replaced ignition switch for $78 plus tax. Problem solved.

 

do you think thats all that it could be if so i guess its trial and error
