Need help with exaust swap
I have a Da and I want the apexi WS very badly but the only thing is I cant find a cat back system to fit my car, so I was wondering what kind of modification would need to be made if I used a 94-98, b/c i can get a good deal on it.
What would the length diff be? Would I have to make a new rear section?
Or should I just buy the universal Ws muffler and go get some mandrel bent tubing done at the exhaust shop???
Any Idea's?

gen2 and gen3 integra's have different shaped exhausts, so if you really wanted that exhaust, the best thing to would be to get a used axleback WS2 (since they don't sell the WS2 axlebacks new), and have it welded up to custom piping. there are plenty more options you wouldnt have to go the custom route though. have you considered the rs-r exmag? its fairly comparable to the WS2 in terms of look and sound, and they make a DA application.
Yeah I know about the RSR exmag but ive seen a pic of it on a DA and it wasnt the set up that i liked, it had the muffler section then an external tip, where as I want the whole muffler and tip combined
This is my shitty paint drawing of what I DONT want, does the exmag come in the 95-98 style but for the da?

so you want your exhaust to be hanging on the passenger side? my old ED civic (90 si) had the exhaust that was similiarly shaped to the DA's and exited on the driver also. the problem is that if you switch sides, then you will have to deal with your bumper having the exhaust 'notch' still there and having no 'notch' on the other side...
No, I still want it on the driver's side, but I want to make sure that if i ordered the ex mag for my da, the muffler style would still look like this;

with the tip attatched to the muffler, rather than the muffler and tip being separate like in my paint pic...

Noooo, its about the actual layout of the exhaust sytem
I WANT THIS STYLE

NOT THIS STYLE

Does anyone know which style the da comes in?

The 90-93 Integra comes in the bottom style, the 94-01 Integra has the top style.
If you want to use a 94-01 Integra exhaust for some reason, you will have get some custom piping. It may make some strange bends and turns though, and stick out farther than you may want in order for it to fit around everything. You might want to look into the RSR ExMag GT2, it is just straight - your clearance will suck and it is really really loud, but it will probably give you the exit you want (although it looks more like a HKS Hiper than a WS or a regular Exmag).
The problem you will have, if you look at the above pics you posted, is that the DA has an existing exhaust piping path. It comes straight down from the cat, goes to the passenger side, goes over the right rear lca, then turns back and points toward the drivers side, goes into the canister (which is mounted parallel to the car's axles) then turns back to rear, so that the tip fits perfectly into the notch in the rear bumper. However, a 94-01 integra has a different exhaust piping path, it also goes down straight (although probably with a different length - so you would need a section cut out of the b-pipe), then it turns, goes over the rear LCA, and goes straight into the canister and exits. The flange for the catback to mate to the b-pipe is usually about 2 inches past the rear LCA, so if you measure your DA from the rear LCA back to the bumper, you can see how much room you have to work with. You could then get the piping custom made (cut an inch or 2 out from the b-pipe), and maybe an inch or 2 out of the axle back muffler piping so that the b-pipe can fit the bend of the DA path, and then exit the rear bumper without sticking too far out, hitting the bumper, etc. You would also need to ignore the rubber hangers on the driver's side, and weld new ones onto the passenger side, or somehow anchor the muffler in some other way. However, you would either have to cut a new bumper notch for the tip, or slant the muffler tip down under the bumper, which i think is pretty ugly and impractical. This bumper notch is why you see most people who want a cannister style muffler slanting a pipe out so that it comes out of the same bumper notch.

personally i like the DA, 88-91 civic/crx exhaust style.
on my 88 civic i kept with the old schol look, but couldn't afford greddy, or RSR.
i knew a guy with a civic hatch that had the greddy sp and it looks awesome.

Well thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate it, so I'm just gonna buy a universal apexi WS and use my current custom piping on my skunk 2, but just change the mufflers (which is still in the stock location driver side exit) and add a resonator...
