Water STILL leaking... I am at a total loss right now

At this point I have no idea what to do. I have had my car apart so many times, and it still leaks under my dashboard. I'm starting to think that there may be no solution. Is that even possible, to have a problem that just cannot be fixed? The only way I know to get access to where the water is coming into my car, would be to cut my frame rails apart.

water coming in from below the cowl area, it comes in through holes in the frame rails.
Man, you have had this problem for too long. Its time to bite the bullet and take it to the dealer.
I remember there are some rubber seals under the wiper cowels on G2's, I assume its the same for G3's, too.
When they go bad, the passenger floor gets soaked. I might be telling you what you already know, though.
I asked you this last time- has the car ever been in a wreck?

G3's do not have those seals that G2's have. I wish it was as simple as that.
It has not been in a major collision, I rearended somebody over a year ago but it was pretty minor.
And I seriously doubt the Acura dealer would know anything beyond what I have done (stripped entire interior out including dashboard).

Man. I would say that maybe the base of the windsheild may be leaking or something really weird like that. It sounds like you're going to literally strip the car again and sit in the car while someone pours water over specific areas of the car. Thats what I had to do for my car. Is was a pain, but its fixed now.
So- its coming from the frame rail? can you explain this to me more, im a "visual" guy. Is it from holes in the frame? can you silicone/weld them up?

Water runs down the windshield and under the cowl trim (that cavity where all the wiper linkage stuff is), and then runs out the side and down behind the fenders. Some of the water is getting inside the frame rail and leaking into the car.

ahh. arent there pressure seals on where the front fenders attach to prevent water from coming in? Id hate for you to take off the fenders, though.
edit- im thinking of the bumpers, not the fenders.

I had the bumper and fender off when I was trying to fix the leak 2 weekends ago.
This really sucks, makes me not even want to mess with cars anymore.

with the dash/interior apart, did you spray the outside of the car and see where the water runs into the car?

I used a turkey basting syringe and ran water down the passenger side of the windshield when I had everything apart. That's how I knew about the water coming in the hole in the body seam sealant.
I might draw a diagram later to show what's going on.

Is your climate control set on fresh air?
I heard that in some case, water leaks into the passenger area thru the climate control area, and to fix it you switch to recirculating air.
It was from a technical article from Honda. wonder if that could be from the same area? :shrugs:

i know this would be a pain, but why dont you go over the seams with some silicone that you think are the trouble spots?

Because I can't get to the seams or whatever where the water is getting into the frame rail.
See here, water that runs down the windshield goes down below the cowl area, and drains out the side here:

On its way down to the ground, some of it gets inside the frame rail, and before 2 weeks ago, it was coming in this hole in the body seam sealant here (it's filled w/ silicone already in this pic):

I even tried feeding a piece of wire up into that hole in the body seam sealant, and was able to get at least 12" of wire up in there. But when I looked up above and all around outside the car, I was not able to see the wire at all.
Also, there's another hole inside the frame rail (on the other side of the metal seen in the pic above), and if the car is inclined up, the water runs back, out the hole inside the frame rail, and drips off that edge of the opening where you see the sunroof tube and door harness coming through in that above pic.
The problem is that hole inside the frame rail is a regular round hole, that looks like it's supposed to be there. I'm afraid if I were to seal that hole up I could end up causing other problems.
As you can see, wherever the water is getting is totally inaccessible unless I were to cut my frame rails apart w/ a plasma cutter or something
So you can see why I am at a loss right now, I have no idea what to do about this.

Maybe some of the stuff you have sealed is giving you the problem. Maybe you sealed off some runoff areas for the water to go, and now it is building up and getting inside your car through other areas.

well the hole in the body seam sealant where the water was originally coming in definitely did not look like it was supposed to be there.
The other hole that I mentioned, inside the frame rail, is like a normal round drilled hole, and looks like it is supposed to be there, which is why I didn't try to seal it up.
What needs to happen is the water needs to be blocked from getting to any of these holes. It all just needs to run out the side of the cowl and behind the fender like it's supposed to. But like I said, the problem is the point at which it's getting to those holes is inside the frame rail, and I don't know of any way to get to it, hell I can't even see the place, unless the frame rails are cut apart.

why not seal the area off where the water is going out and drill some small holes in the front of the cowl so the water will run out behind the fuse box? from that picture thats the only thing i can think of is to make an alternet route for the water to go out.

if it looks like its just a factory hole see if you can find a rubber plug or something to cover the hole and see where the water goes orif its stopped, if it comes in the car another way even worse just remove the plug but if it finds another way out of the car make the plug it permenent.
these are the only things i can really think of after seeing pictures.

Check for TSB's(Technical Service Bulletins).
Believe it or not, their might be one out there. The manufacturer pays technicans how ever long it takes to find sollutions to common based problems.
Sometimes youll pull up a car, and there be a HUGE list. Who knows, your problem might be there, with a sollution.

This sounds like it may be worth trying, it looks like you may be getting to the point where you need to bypass the normal drainage area all together.
Sorry about all your problems man, seems like the only posts I ever see you having are hid retrofits and water leaks.
