Worse fuel economy than my Saturn...
Okay, I just figured this out. I have a 1997 Acura 1.6EL, same as a 97 Civic EX, D16Y8 engine + tranny, BONE stock. I just passed the 100,000 mile mark. Now, this is what I just figured out; this car has a 45 liter (11.9 us gal) fuel tank. Since I've owned it, I thought is was a 40 liter (10.6 us gal) tank like other Honda's I've owned. My 1992 Saturn (which had well over 200,000 miles on it) got over 500kms (about 320 miles) out of the 11.9 gal tank. My 1.6EL gets about 200 miles.
I thought since 1.6 < 1.9 and more efficient, Honda engineering, I would get better economy, but I guess not. Is this normal?

I just accepted it because I thought it had a smaller tank, but it doesn't. It's going to get a full tune up in the spring now.
