Default Brake Pads DX & EX Same?

I just got a good deal on a set of slotted/drilled rotors and ceramic pads. The box the pads came in state Civic EX 92-95 and I have a 94 Civic DX hatch will the fit. The guy at the shop said that they are the same for both models.

Thank You for any reply.

The rotors are correct in size, it's the pads that I'm asking about.

If you already have the pads, why don't you take off one of yours and eyeball it when they're together? Are the rotors from a DX and the pads from the EX, or are the rotors from an EX too?

The rotor are for DX and the pads are for EX.

Okay then, they simply won't work on DX sized rotors. EX's have 10.3" rotors, while DX's have 9.5" or something like that. Bigger rotor = bigger pads. The EX pads won't work, try it for yourself. The guy at the shop that sold them to you (or whatever) is a moron just trying to get money. I hope you can get your money back from him.

dx ones are about a quarter inch diff than the ex pads also the the dx has no abs and the ex came i think optionally with or without abs

ABS is totally different from non abs pads.
The fact still remains, no matter how many people say it, that ex brakes are larger than dx brakes - in all aspects
