Default Looking to turbocharge D15B2

I am looking to turbocharge my 1990 Honda Civic with the 1.5L D15B2. So far I know that I will need to replace the gaskets, upgrade the fuel system, lower the compression, and put in stronger connecting rods. How much can the stock drive train handle? Does anybody have any good sources for aftermarket connecting rods, or any other reccomendations?

I hope you plan on converting it to MPFI first.

no point in turbo'ing if you dont plan on doing the MPFI conversion first as stated.

but you can also use p29 or pg6b(86-89 integra) pistons on the b2 as well, but that will bump up the compression though. look into a p&p and a 3/5 angle valve job as well to make more power.

this site is geared more towards b/h/k-series performance, so i'd advise you to check out http://www.sohchonda.com and http://www.d-series.org and http://www.homemadeturbo.com

After you convert to mpfi I would say the stock motor is good for about 180whp reliabley with a good tune..
Get some eagle rods,JE pistons with around 9:?:?..and get some fuel management and get a nice exospeed cam or si cam and you could start makin some power a proper sized turbo..
