im about to sell my 89 civic and it has a couple problems. Im sure someone else had this problem, when u turn the key two clicks before u start it the dash lights turn on and the fuel pump is suppose to send fuel to the motor, but when i click mine on nothin happens. And the car is known to shut off while driving and not start for a while. The thing is, I hooked up a toggle switch which got power directly from my battery to the wires running from that thing under the back seats, then i flip the toggle switch and u hear the fuel pump send fuel to the motor, then the car starts when i turn the key to start it! Does anyone know what this could be? Please help. need to sell this civic to get my CRX running.

 

main relay. Either get a new one or desolder and resolder the existing one.

 

would u happen to know where the main relay is located?
