Default Why are there so many b16 projects?

I don't know about you guys.. But when I look in mags like SS and IT... All I ever see is b16 this and b16 that?.. What about b18??. Can you do more with a b16 than a b18 or what??

The two engines are so similar you can do pretty much anything equally to both engines. However, as I said in your post on H-A.net, complete earlier B16 swaps can be had for like $1500-$2000, while complete B18C swaps are like $3000-$4000 (that is, assuming everybody is honest about everything and there's nothing shady w/ the parts or transaction).

b16 are just so much more prevalent in the aftermarket, it's alot easier to find a b16 in a junk yard than it is a b18b or a bi8c, ...........i'll personally stcik with my b18b turbo motor...yea............
