help with gauge install on 02 civic si

does anyone know how to install mechanical oil and water temp gauges? i have the ones with the sensor that need to be connected somewhere. please e-mail me if you have answers. alexisgaud@sbcglobal.net

chances are you will need a tfitting and you will have to install the the new senders in one part and the old in the other, same goes with the oil.

are you sure they are not electronic senders?

the gauges have two wires, one black(ground) and one white(light or power). it also has a long black(nylon tubing) thicker wire that has the sensor at the end. my question is, where would this sensor be connected for the oil temp and the water temp? i could send you a picture of the gauge itself. e-mail me and i can e-mail you with the picture. thanks man.

didn't they come with any instructions?

this took about 30 seconds to find...if you need more, just go to autometer.com...they have instructions for all their gauges
