Bought a Venom manifold a while back from a member and Im trying to understand how Im going to get a throttle cable to work with these straight fatty runners.

In my mind I can only think of two options, Ill show you the pics first, think of what I should do, then read my ways and tell me whats up





Actually I wont even post my ideas, but they incorporated the cable going under the manifold because thats definetely the only way I can see it working, but I dont know

1- to put it under the manifold right away before the forth runner

2- to run it like stock and than somehow dip it straight down inbetween the 1-2 runners and then under #1 runner to the t/b

I dunno how those would work or what i could make to use the stock throttle cable that would work

This manifold is for a Z6, I didnt know the z6 had an odd stud pattern and originally had a 64mm A6 t/b for it but now Im stuck with this stock Z6

I might be able to make something that pretty much restrains the cable all the way across the top and then straight down before the first runner and right into the loop

Might be a little tricky to make and figure out a way to tighten it

Just looking for a good way

 

suggested the gsr tb, because it has the throttle bracket built onto the throttle body, I didnt know it for for sohc . Id look into making it get

I was thinking of kind of encasing the cable along the top to guide it across the top or bottom, Ill just bang out some metal and mount one end to the screw hole visible at the top, then an arm going to whatever Im going to use to encase the cable, would have to be fairly thick metal I suppose

Also, about fixing cable tension, how the **** would I do that

These venoms dont have the little thing stockers have
