04 s2k pricing
Nope...most dealerships dont get ALOT of them, and outside of maybe $1,000 off the price they were when the 2004's first came out, their just gonna continue to try and get sticker price for them because they know eventually someone will pay it for the car...
I have to ask this though...and i know everyone's saying it aint gonna happen...but at the Detroit Auto Show, they were showing all the Honda models on TV, and the S2000 wasnt in their area...did it truely get discontinued for 2006?

I'm not a dealership, but, my 2004 S2k is up for sale right now. Edmunds.com rated it over $29k for a private seller and $30k from a dealership.
It's virtually brand new. There's a link in my sig if you're interested.
But, these guys are all right. Most dealerships won't give but $1000 off of the MSRP on them.
Good luck!

they're asking 33.9 for this black one, i think that's pretty damn high for msrp... what do you guys think i should knock them down to?
I'm getting quotes at under $30k for new 05s, so I would think you should be able to get a new 04 for at least $1k less, maybe $2k. Otherwise why not just get an 05?

Who is giving you these price quotes? The factory invoice on a 2005 is $29,640.00. I don't see how a dealership can shoot themselves in the foot and give up an S2k for less than that when they don't even get that many of them.
Low-mileage 04's can be had for $26-$29k. If you ask me, a low mileage 04 would be just as good because it will still carry the factory 3yr 36k mile factory warranty.

Herb Chambers Honda in MA has offered me a new 05 for 29895, and a dealer in Philly (forget the dealer name offhand) is willing to match it. A couple other dealers say they probably will too. Just waiting to decide who to buy it from. This time of year they are sitting on those cars and they'd rather sell at no profit than to lose money by having them sit there. This is the time of year to get a deal... once winter breaks I'm sure they'll be selling for closer to MSRP.
I would get an 05 over an 04 if the price is within $2k. If you resell in a couple of years, the 05 is going to get more $$ back even if it has the same mileage and same warranty remaining, just because its an 05.

acutally put in a request online that you're looking for an S2000.... and then dealers will start to call you to set up appointments... thats how i got mine..
I gotta say...even at $35K this car is a great deal. After having ours for several months, $40K would not have been out of the question if i didnt know much about the car and someone asked me what it was worth.
