Since tow eyes are required for HC now, I ordered a metal one from Arospeed (before I saw the cool post on the strap type tow eyes). I got it yesterday and started looking at where to put it this morning. I am seriously stumpped. I could use some help. Has anyone done this on a 2nd gen CRX before? If so, can I see some pics or can you point me in the right direction? If this is gonna be too much trouble, I'll probably just scrap it and go w/ the tow strap idea. I'd hate to waste the money and the nice looking part though.

Tow eye info:
2 pieces. The mounting piece is L bracketed at one end w/ some pre-drilled holes. The tow eye piece is pre-drilled for bolting to the mounting piece. Picture of the kit at the link below.

Most cars they volt onto the bumper support come through the grill. That is how mine was on the Del Slow. I'm not sure if it would work on your CRX I can't exactly remember what those piecers bumpers look like.

 

IIRC soon any hard metal object protruding form the car will not be allowed (ie two hooks) id look into the two strap idea up front
