Default OT- Job opportunity in Koni Service Center

I am posting this in the Suspension and Road Racing/Autocross forums as I regularly get asked if Koni has any job openings:

Koni North America in Hebron, KY (Greater Cincinnati area) is seeking resumes for a new technician position in our Shock Absorber Service Center. We have an opening for an entry level professional position to work rebuilding and fabricating primarily automotive and racing dampers. Candidates should have basic mechanical skills and an interest in automotive and mechanical topics and willingness to learn. Basic welding and/or machining skills are helpful. Candidates must be willing to work in a team setting and to be located in the SW Ohio, Northern KY or SE Indiana area.

Please send cover letters and/or resumes to resume@koni-na.com. Please include your work history and rough salary requirements. I will not be involved in the actual hiring process myself so I have rather limited knowledge of the exact job specifics or decisions.

Would I get to surf H-T all day? Make randomly-valved shocks for all my friends? Sabotage the competition?

What are the perks?

(Edit, I have no competition, I'm not pretending to.)

Why couldn't you have posted a few months ago?

Our General Manager just moved here from Culpepper, VA (the only Koni factory in the US ever was there in the 1980s). It would be a long commute, probably 8-9 hours each way but you might be able to technically do it and squeeze in an 8 hour work day. Just dedicate your life to it, never sleep and drive like a bat out of hell...no problem.
