Dissapointing video- Stock Srt4 vs Stock s2k...

I know I know its not a straight line car, but still... just saying it let me down there... I pulled a stock lightly modded Srt4 with my daily driven b18c EG.

 

it's ok man, in the end he's still driving an S and not a neon

yeah video doesn't work here either... so i can't comment on the race... all i know is i've raced a couple.. and they are not impressive.... they are fast but not quite what people swear they are.... the S just needs a good driver in it...

They run about the same 1/4 time...what you gotta think about is the fact that most of the owners of the SRT4 are little street racing teenie boppers (not all but most), they get their jollies off of quick little light to light jolts, and most pay as much as we do for our S2K's for what is essentially a Neon with a turbo (and if history has told us anything, its that Chrysler has never had good luck over the years with turbo charged cars...especially in the reliability department)...

Even if the SRT-4 could blow the doors off the S2000, its still a neon, still looks like a neon, most have a huge wing...its the epitome of a street ricer car, has everything they could want, where as the S2000 is honestly in my opinion almost a statement of knowledge and maturity...its in a price range that most of the kids cant get into as far as cars go, handbuilt, n/a with alot of heritage going into it. Give me an S2000 over the fastest Neon any day of the week.

 

video worked for me..... the neon supposedly had 4 people in it too....ahha.. stupid s2000's....

just messin.... the SRT is pretty decent for what they are... plus it had a couple of mods, but if they were hauling an extra 500lbs that sucks to be the S2000 driver.

Scot, Why does it suck? Becuase he has a car that is good for one thing, going fast in a straight line? lol, nothing against the drivers, if thats what they're happy with, then more power to them...i'd rather have an S2000 even if it much slower like i said, i imagine after a few seconds of thinking about that neon beating him, he just kept cruising enjoying his car...and as many videos as there are SRT-4's beating S2000's, i bet if i went and dug some up, theres probobly some of S2000's beating SRT-4's.

lol since when was a SRT-4 the same price as a s2k? This car is good for what it does and the s2k is good at what it does. Please find another NEW car for 22k that compares to the srt-4 in performance... there is none.

Who said they were? Take a moment to read what was said, i said that the people that own them are usually young, and thus, would be paying about what most of us are paying for our S2000's for the neon.

And of course there isnt another car for the money that can run near a 13sec. 1/4 stock...thing is, thats all that damn car was built for.
