Ok so, about 2 month ago i replaced my wiring harness to get rid of some hicups my car was having. It did the trick. Now we were down to why my vtec doesn't work. I think we had that down to new vtec soleniod. But I did my H22 swap over 2 years ago and when i took my Field SFC vtec controller off (thought that was causing the hicups) i am not sure i put the wires you are supposed to switch back right. I know they are A6 and A11 but moreover what are the colors. I have red and orange/black, is this correct (95 is the year).
Also i put the Feild back on and bypassed the vtec problem till i can find a soleniod. Then we went through and found out all the codes i was throwing. It turned out to be and ho2 sensor, vtec soleniod, and iat. which i knew about. So we started soldering and what not the get them all fixed. Now i go out and drive it and get another code, knock sensor, fix that and now vss, it seems my car like to play ring and the ******* rosey with codes. So we replace the vss and no codes. I drive home from my friends garage and no codes but still cut out at 6250. I am like what the hell, and then it starts this rough revving **** like it was doing 2 or 3 months ago (but now once i get passed 3000 or give it more than about 15% throttle it runs fine), and then the idle is fucked up. I have no idea what is going on.
So in short could this non revving thing have anything to do with being rich. Cause i have not car and miner bolt ons. Also could the 6250 redline be because i need a new vtec soleniod. I want to get my POS running so i can get some good **** for it instead of spending it all on fixing what is wrong with it. All help would be greatly appreciated.

thought so myself, but i need to check my sparkplugs and stuff like that, but faulty ecu did come to mind. Do you think it could be because i have a bad vtec controller that might be making me limit out early.

i replaced the fuel filter back when i was having the first problem. I didn't drive my car for about 3 or 4 months so it is still good.
Check the wires at your map sensor and try swaping the map sensor and see what happens. If your getting a bog between 2k and 3k its most likely the map sensor. What happens is that it reads a **** load of air coming in when its really not, causing the ecu to dump more fuel. Then when the O2 sensor reads all the unburned raw fuel after the cat and it cause a misfire at high rpm.
