yeah i had an aem cai, but had to put my stock airbox back on so i could pass smog visual.

while i was putting it back on, i decided to not put back the stock big gray box attached to the bottom of the airbox in the bumper.

is ok to leave that out? cuz that thing is ultra hard to put in

i passed visual w/o it, but some places will be **** and want it in there. most likely you should be fine w/o putting it back

yeah the bumper has to come off to put it back I say just leave it out and cross your fingers
