Yes, another video...a bit longer...
it's just a short 1m and 15sec video of my car at a recent track day.
it mostly features a camcorder mounted on the front of a friend's Lotus Elise (Jim's).
Sorry for those who hate electronic/techno. I'm not a big fan, but i made this video in the span of 10mins and it was the only song i found short enough.
Anyways, to the video! 6megs
and yes, that's a small spoiler on the back of my car. No, it doesn't fall off. Yes, it's making fun of people with spoilers.

How well does your rex hang with the lotus on the track or vice versa?

my favorite was when you took off in the begnning on lotus cam and when you went into the short S on lotus cam and swooped out of it. and that camera is smooth and clear.

go to his website asnd read the history of his HF which used to be white. but if you dont want to do that.
89si was barbados yellow then resprayed to prowler yellow.. his 89si got wreck then he bought a 90 white hf and quote from site "painted in memory of my old '89 Si. Prowler Yellow was the choice again where it later acquired the nickname "Homer"
so it's prowler yellow and his name is Homer. Homer has brought me and many h-t members alot of entertainment in viewing pleasure.

God I hope no one knew where it was from... yes, it's a DDR song. I stole a good 200 songs from a friend, this happened to be in there...

the camcorder is a Canon MiniDV camcorder. it also matters how you rip the video... I use a firewire cable... usb just makes the video look worse.

yes, actually... the car accelerates like crazy, grips through turn 1 and turn 2 like you wouldn't believe (those big sweepers at the beginning of the chase video), but, they just make you shift A LOT.

The Elise has an AMAZING steering feel and power delivery. The Elise is just an incredible car.... and it's bone stock from the factory (sport tuned suspension, sport roof, sticky-icky tyres).
My modified car, is pretty equal to the stock sport version of the Elise. On that track, my friend in the Elise was turning 1:55s, I got a 1:54. The driver of the Elise (who also happens to own a 360 Modena, the bastard) bought his Elise maybe 6 months ago and has tracked it maybe 3 or 4 times. He's getting use to it... considering his last track car was a '03 996 w/ x50 option (aka, a porsche 911 w/ 500hp to all four wheels).
He definitely has another 2-3 seconds out there, if he hangs it out more in some corners. Likewise, my car probably has another second or two.
bottomline, my MODIFIED CRX is pretty damn close to a stock sport-tuned Elise.

yes and no.
I wasn't driving during the last sequence. A friend took the car out for a session and got it a bit loose under braking in that turn. He drove it off the track at that point... never want to try to fight to control the car... just drive it straight off.
