Default b18c1 head on jdm b16a?

yea just wanting to know what all is needed to put a gsr head on my jdm b16a block? and my lifters on my b16 head tap like crazy when warmed up, is this bad lifters or just need to be adjusted? or could it be that its not even a vtec ecu and has no knock sensor, i dont know if that would have n e hting to do with it but maybe someone here would know. get at me asap

WHy would you want to do that? Keep the B16 head, no need to get a b18c1 head. The b16 head flows better

also if you using a b18c1 head plain on having to buy an intake manifold, difference bolt pattern. i would see if the lifters need to be adjusted because that wouldn't be fun paying for a new head and all it was, was a valve or lifter needing adjustment. now is it only when its cold or at low idle. if it dose it at low idle then see if your valve guides are tight if its only when its cold then you might not be getting enough oil in the head. check the oil pressure.and im pretty sure that all dohc vtec came with a knock sensor. doesn't sound like a big problem
