im about to put a gsr swap in my 00 civic coupe.

I just have one question. Will the stock header bolt up to my test pipe and exhaust..? or will i need the GSR cat ?

 

what motor do you have in there now ?

If I remember right the B series Mani is a little shorter than the D but I am not 100% on that one.

 

As a side note: your 00 coupe is an EJ8? How come mine has EJ6 in the vin?

Is there a difference?

What model trim do you have?

 

I guess it's equal to your EX or something....

It's a 00 Coupe, (Civic SE).. d16y7, ABS, power-locks..no power mirrors/windows

Edit: Im in Canada

 

The only two EJ8s are:
-Canadian 2 door EX
-USDM 2/4 door EX

 

Are there major differences between an EJ6, and EJ8.. both can be 2000 Coupes.

 

im pretty sure it fits (95%). My friend has a B16 in his crx with a completly stock exhaust from the CRX. B-series motor in a D series car. Same concept i think.

EJ6 = '96-00 North American Civic, D16Y7 (2dr, 3dr, 4dr)

EJ8 = '96-00 North American Civic, D16Y8 (2dr, 4dr)

 

i thought it worked but i was just double checking.

and my car is an EX that is why it is an EJ8.
